Dress Code Policy
The dress code adopted for A.S.H.C.S. students allows for individuality in style choices while maintaining a standard of appropriateness and modesty. To enable this level of freedom and flexibility to exist, all students are expected to comply. When shopping, please remember these three simple guidelines: PRUDENT, PRACTICAL, and PROPER.. Please contact the Headmaster for any clarification.

Shoes: Full enclosed shoes, tennis shoes, etc. No flip flops allowed (safety issue).

Tops: Crew Neck, colored T-shirts, polo shirts, button-down shirts are alllowed. tank tops are not acceptable. Boys wearing shirts not
          to be tucked in must not have them at extreme lengths. Girls must have modest necklines and midriff covered. Appropriate
          brand-name logos, pictures, wording or designs are allowed. Shirts and tops must not be tight fitting for boys or girls.

Bottoms: Blue jeans and pants are acceptable for boys and girls. Garments should not be tattered, baggy or tight fitting. Girls dresses
               and skirts must be knee length or longer and conform to modesty rules. Shorts are not allowed except on special occasions
               by Headmaster approval, nor are pj-type garments, excercise/warmup outfits or sweat pants. Belts may be needed to keep
               pants at proper waist level.

Grooming: No facial hair and no earrings, chains, or bracelets for boys. Girls may have no more than three earrings in each ear and
                 no other facial or body piercing. Boys hair styles: neat (not over collar or ears), not spiked or partially shaved. No extreme
                 hair colors for either gender. No tattoos allowed. Hats may be worn outside only.

Devices: Cell phones and other electronic devices not allowed during class hours.
